The inspiration for Pup and Peep emerged in the cozy home of Charlie and Alice Turner, proud new parents to a baby girl named Emma and devoted owners of a playful Cocker Spaniel named Benny.

One crisp autumn evening in 2015, as Alice searched for a way to keep both her baby and her dog warm and stylish, she was struck by an idea. "Why not create matching outfits for Emma and Benny?" she wondered. With her background in fashion design and Charlie's expertise in marketing, they decided to embark on a venture that would combine their passions and growing family.

Alice’s first creations were simple but charming: matching sets of cozy sweaters for Emma and Benny. The reaction from friends and family was overwhelmingly positive, with many asking for their own matching sets. Realizing the potential of this unique concept, Alice and Charlie decided to turn their idea into a full-fledged business. They named their company "Pup and Peep," a playful nod to the joyful sounds of their baby’s giggles and their dog’s happy barks.

They started small, working from their home and selling through local markets and online platforms. Alice focused on designing comfortable, stylish outfits that were both baby-safe and pet-friendly, while Charlie built an engaging online presence, sharing adorable photos of Emma and Benny in their matching attire.

As demand grew, so did the company. Pup and Peep moved from their kitchen table to a small studio in the heart of the Cotswolds.
